Dear Baby Zoey

A year ago today we lost our fourth baby (a little girl). Although mommy will never feel complete until we are all reunited, you have brought me so much happiness I never thought was possible. I love you more than words can say.

What big thing happened with you today you say.... well......Daddy was able to hold you for the first time!!!! He loved every moment of it and could have held you all day!!! He loves you very much. You sure picked the best daddy. Love you Zoey

Dear Baby Zoey

but not doing a very good job because everyone can hear me. Oopsy. This is big...no, this is amazing, I'm talking huge progress right here!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mommy can't help herself.

Omg, I'm so proud of you. It seems like just yesterday you were in your cocoon and on every machine possible (keeping you alive), and now you are in a CRIB!!! Wow, I definitely didn't expect this overwhelming sense of gratitude and humility. It Makes me want to cry.

It amazes me at all the little things I took for granted,  like being able to get pregnant and carry my baby, but thankfully there are angels out there, Kimmi, that selflessly volunteer to carry you for me, being able to hold you without it hurting my scar, Having breast milk automatically (again thank you Kimmi), Being able to take you home after you were born, being able to touch, hold, kiss, swaddle, squeeze, dress, change diaper, burp, rock, and sing to you.....tears!

Oh Zoey my little doll, I love you so much my heart could burst! I can't even tell you how extremely proud of all the accomplishments that you have made and continue to make. You are "feisty" and a "fighter", like mamma, but that is how we survive. We all love and pray for you constantly.
