Dear Baby Zoey

Mommy is so excited because she gets to spend all day with you!!! Yay!!!

I have not wrote you for a little bit so lets play catch up.

On Sunday Mommy was able to hold you for the first time. I started a letter about that but haven't finished it yet. There are no Words that could ever describe the overwhelming spirit, emotion and love that was in your room that night. Mommy tried to hold back her tears so she wouldn't drown you in them. It was heaven.

You had a brain ultrasound on 8-12-13 to check to see if you had any brain bleeds. They say with preemies that this is (not good but) very common. However, they told us you didn't have any bleeds, but they would check again in 30 days. We were beyond thrilled to hear the good news! Also, on Monday you were put back in room #1 so mommy couldn't hold you ;(.

Dear Baby Zoey

After mommy got off work she rushed to the hospital to see you. And to my surprise you had moved to room #7!! This was awesome news because it meant I got to hold you! Mommy cried again because she was soo happy. Guess who else was able to come and see you tonight.......Elyse and Jace! The nurses told mommy if she brought your siblings immunization records that they could come see you two days a week for 15 minutes. Elyse was beyond thrilled and started to sing you a lullaby when she saw you. Jace, on the other hand, looked at you and said, "mommy, did you bring my Itouch".  Lol lol. That's Jace for you. He did keep trying to touch you but your skin is still so fragile we had to say no. They love you so much and keep fighting over who is going to get to feed and hold you first. Soo cute!!

Today, like I said, I get to spend all day with you:) Mommy is trying her hardest and pumping every 3-4 hours to get milk for you. Kim is amazing and your life line because she is giving you her milk (which is going above and beyond call of duty)!! But hopefully I'll be able to take over.

The doctors just came by and said your goal today is to grow! Not sure what your weight is but a few days ago you were two pounds ten ounces. I know you're a girl but please gain weight :)
